The ACR impact modifier has a unique core-shell structure, with the core being a lightly crosslinked acrylic copolymer and the outer shell being a methacrylate copolymer. This structure enables ACR to undergo deformation of the rubber core when subjected to external impact, resulting in the generation of silver lines and shear bands, thereby absorbing impact energy. This energy absorption mechanism significantly improves the impact resistance of PVC pipes, making them less prone to breakage when subjected to external impacts.


ACR has good compatibility with PVC and can be uniformly dispersed in the PVC matrix. This structure helps to improve the overall toughness and impact resistance of PVC pipes.
